The villa is raised on a timber deck with a private plunge pool set into it, and floor-to-ceiling glass that opens the bedroom to the water. Inside it is teak, cane and cool tile.
Elephant Rock is a walk up the beach; the point breaks that made Arugam Bay are a short ride away. Come back salty, get in the pool, watch the light go.
