Private plunge-pool villas at Arugam Bay's shore and on the edge of Wilpattu's leopard country — built from timber, glass and open sky.
Leopard Inn began with a simple idea — a room shouldn't separate you from the landscape it sits in. Every villa is raised on a deck, wrapped in glass, and finished in warm timber, with a private plunge pool close enough to reach from the bed.
The idea
Two branches, two very different landscapes. At Arugam Bay, the deck looks straight out to the ocean. At Wilpattu, it looks out over the scrub jungle that gives Sri Lanka's leopards their name. Same handmade teak furniture, same quiet attention to detail — different horizon.
An elevated timber villa a few steps from the sand, with a private plunge pool on the deck and the Indian Ocean as the view from bed. Built for surf mornings and slow, salty evenings.

Wilpattu is Sri Lanka's largest national park and one of the best places on earth to spot a leopard. Our villa here sits at its doorstep — same raised timber build, same private plunge pool, with the park's scrub jungle instead of the sea.

Both branches sit close to the reason people make the trip in the first place.
